My grandfather was on the Wahine. Do you have any other info on her and her crew?

Unfortunately I do not know very much about the HMS Wahine. I’d like to know more about the ship in the First World War but there does not seem to be very much information online about it. It might be worth going on the National Archives’ website and searching for your grandfather’s Naval Records there. I hope you find what you’re looking for!

I am also looking for my Grandfather who served on the HMS Wahine when she was coverted as a minelayer in WWI. The information about the ship is very scarce. Have you managed to locate anything? If you do I would be grateful to hear anythying. I will also come back to you if I get lucky as well. I am in New Zealand so visiting the National Archives is not possible for me at this time.
